Bereavement Ministry hosts receptions for memorial or funeral services, providing set up, clean up, cookies, and a kind presence.  

Flower Ministry is a ministry of the Knox Deacons. A few times a year, the Knox Deacons deliver flowers or other goodies to those in the Knox community who can no longer easily be physically present in our community

Healing Hands Quilts offers handmade quilts to those going through a tough time or recovering from illness or surgery. They wrap the suffering one in love and prayer while they heal, then are returned to be shared with another.  

Knox Helps Outoffers help on a one-time or short-term basis for those going through a challenging time and could use meals, rides, help with household tasks or errands. 

Listening Friends is a ministry offered by a team of trained Stephen Ministers who offer a supportive, non-judgmental, listening presence to anyone who needs to talk, once or several times. 

Marking Milestones is a ministry meant to mark life transitions, helping us recognize God’s presence in our daily lives and in each season of life. We mark such moments as baptism, first grade communion, third grade bibles, confirmation, and graduations. We also mark moments in adult lives such as moving from one’s home to senior housing. 

Written Ministry is a ministry of the Knox Deacons. Each month the Deacons send cards to those in the community who are celebrating, grieving, or going through a challenging time. They also send crocheted baby bunnies to the new babies in the congregation.
