Join us on Sunday April 16, Noon – 2PM for a Knox Wonder of Creation Class on Human Movement.  Have you wondered how the simple act of standing or walking entails an intricate system of muscles, bones, joints, bodily sensors and the nervous system all working in harmony?  Have you wondered how we can go hiking on uneven terrain, dance, and participate in athletics?

Knox member and Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Todd Kelley will show us how this miraculous system works.  We will talk about how motor skills are developed through practice, how medical technologies can help extend our ability to move when arthritis tries to slow us down, and how faith and motivation can help us to recover following injury or surgery.  Come learn about and even hold modern orthopaedic implants.

Lunch and childcare provided. A donation of $10/meal is appreciated to defray meal costs.
