Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00PM, January 14-February 18 in person in Knox Room and by zoom.
In this journey, we will first explore how nature creates food from simple molecules like CO2 and water. We will then proceed to nutrition concepts, healthy eating, cooking, digestion, metabolism, and microbiome. This class is about our understanding of food, enjoying food and how cooking transforms food ingredients to create delicacies. Finally, in every class we will sample a simple, nutritious and delicious homemade treat and the recipe to make it yourself. The class is led by long time Knox member Israel Bonnell, who loves to cook and eat.
