Our Daily Bread: Food Insecurity Near and Far
Even amid abundance, there’s hunger and food insecurity not only in the world, but also right here at home. Come for lunch on Sunday, Feb. 15 to learn about food insecurity, food deserts, hunger, and how we as Christians are called to respond at the “Our Daily Bread Lunch & Learn.” The special event, sponsored by the Mission & Social Concerns Committee and the Knox Racial Justice Ministry, will take place immediately after the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Feb. 15, in the Social Hall.
Be inspired on the 15th, then take action on the 22nd as we gathering in between services to pack 30,000 meals during A Child’s Hope Packing event.
