The next movie in the Knox Film Series is a 2005 historical drama Good Night and Good Luck. This film portrays the conflict between veteran journalist Edward R. Murrow and U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin, especially relating to the anti-communist Senator’s actions with the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Directed by George Clooney from a screenplay by Clooney and Grant Heslov, this movie stars David Strathairn as Murrow, Patricia Clarkson, Clooney, Jeff Daniels, Robert Downey Jr. and Frank Langella.
