There are many ways to address the affordable housing plight. Knox has been doing so through Foundhouse-IHN for over 30 years. Here’s another opportunity!
Your Mission & Social Concerns Committee is bundling options to support our local Habitat for Humanity chapter, which has been building and repairing homes for those in need since 1986.
FIRST UP: Let’s build a house! You are invited to help build a home for a local family on Saturday, October 11 from 8:30-4:00. The exact site and scope of work will be determined closer to the date, but no specific skills or experience are required. There will be ways for everyone to help. Volunteers must be age 18 and up, or age 16-17 if accompanied by a parent. Advanced registration is required by October 5. ONLY THREE SPOTS LEFT!
Please CLICK HERE to register.
If you have interest in helping in this way but are unable to attend on October 11, please let Jill Brokaw know so we might find another opportunity (jillbrokaw3@gmail.com).
