Our next Many Hands event is coming up on Sunday, April 19 between services! Recall these are the simple, yet impactful mission projects for all ages.
We’ll again be making sandwiches and packing bags of cookies for our neighbors visiting Our Daily Bread. Hundreds of guests, primarily the unhoused, come to this soup kitchen and social center in Over The Rhine five days a week for a hot meal and fellowship and also leave with a sandwich, cookies and fruit for a second meal later in the day.
Gear up to make 500 sandwiches and 500 bags of cookies in under an hour! Many Hands – of all sizes – are needed to pull this off!
There’s no need to rsvp – just come to the Social Hall right after Fresh Spirit worship or come early for the 11:00 service. Nine committed volunteers are needed in advance to supervise stations that morning and another 1-2 to deliver all the goods to Our Daily Bread on Monday morning.
