Children are central to the life of Knox Church,
we offer many opportunities for kids to explore and grow in faith.
Babies & Toddlers
Knox has a loving and experienced childcare staff that nurtures the littlest ones of our community. Whatever the needs of your baby or toddler, we will meet them with care and patience.Childcare is provided for children ages 4 and under in our Preschool wing of the church. Sunday childcare hours are 8:45AM - 12:30PM fall through spring, and (9:45AM - 11:30AM during the summer).
Grow With Us
We offer Children’s programs on Sunday mornings during the 9am and 11am worship services (10am in the summer). Children may attend the beginning of worship with their parents and are then are invited to Sunday School before the sermon. View Schedule and Map.
We believe it is important to mark and honor certain faith milestones in a child’s life. At Knox we celebrate Baptism (any age), Communion (the Lord’s Table retreat for 2nd grade and up), engaging with the Bible on your own (4th Grade), Confirmation (8thGrade), and Graduation (12th grade).
Building faith, community and relationships is important at Knox. We host a variety of gatherings and events throughout the year to encourage spiritual growth. Check our events page to see the latest offerings.
Epic567 is a program for kids grade five, six and seven which emphasizes building relationships, growing in faith and engaging in service & mission. This group meets on Sunday mornings during 9am & 11am worship services (10am in the summer). They also have regular gatherings and activities throughout the semester.
Having A Baby?
We welcome your new child to the Knox Church Family!
We love babies at Knox and have created many amenities to make it safe, easy, and comfortable for you to bring your new child to church.
And as your child grows in stature, he or she also can grow spiritually with many opportunities for faith formation at Knox.
The Knox Nursery is adjacent to the Knox Commons and is staffed by experienced caregivers. Childcare is available during most church events. When children are able to walk they can go to the Muscle Room—with safe activity toys as well as quiet places for children who just like to chill.
You are welcome to feed your baby while relaxing in one of the two comfortable glider rockers with ottomans in the Nursery. There is a drinking fountain between the restrooms and a full-service kitchen right next to the Nursery.
There is a changing table in the Nursery and in the men’s and women’s restrooms as well as the bathroom in the first-floor hallway down from the Social Hall.
We would love to talk with you about being a part of the Knox Moms Group. The group meets regularly for discussions on topics or books, and for casual get-togethers as well. Contact us to find out more.
