Don’t miss the BIG packing event with A Child’s Hope!
Many Hands are needed to pack 30,000 meals between services on February 22! This is a great opportunity for all ages to serve others this upcoming Lenten season.
WHO? All of us! We’re hoping for 150 volunteers, so stay after Fresh Spirit worship or come early for the traditional service.
WHAT? Pack 30,000 nutritious meals to be sent to areas of famine around the world. Meals consist of rice, fortified soy protein, dried vegetables and 21 vitamins and minerals in vacuum-sealed packs.
WHERE? Knox Social Hall
WHEN? Sunday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m.
WHY? Although there is technically enough food to feed everyone in the world, it is challenging to get it to areas that need it most. It’s hard to know how to help. This is a tangible way to make a difference on the global stage.
HOW? You’ll have to see it to believe it!
There is no need to rsvp – just come! But committed volunteers are needed upfront to set up on Friday, February 20 from 10-12:00 and to serve as station leaders on Sunday. Please contact Jill Brokaw (jillbrokaw3@gmail.com) if you’d like to help in one or both of these ways.
