For our next Many Hands project, we’re joining with Childhood Food Solutions to package food for hungry families. Summer is a great time to help, as many students miss the two meals they typically receive at school each day. This will be a two-part project, so please consider helping on one or both dates!
- On Sunday, July 14, right after worship, we’ll pack 400 boxes of food for families in need. This is a great way for all ages to serve our neighbors. No need to rsvp – just come right after worship. Lemonade on the Lawn will take place in the Social Hall as well. Childcare is available for those under 3 years of age.
- In order to wrap up Sunday before lunch, lots of setup will need to be done in advance. A sizable crew is needed to unload the truck, assemble boxes and stage the food on tables on Wednesday, July 10 beginning at 3:30pm.
