Rev. Dr. Amy Snow

Associate Pastor

Rev. Dr. Amy Snow

Amy’s adventures in ministry began as a teen serving on her Presbytery’s youth committee and have taken her to many varied places including China where she served as a mission co-worker, an operating room where she served as a staff chaplain in Sioux Falls, SD, and Pride festivals where she offered glitter blessings to all those made in God’s image. The constant thread woven through her ministry is one of healing that comes when communities are committed to following in the joyful, justice-centered and generative way of Jesus.

Amy attended Princeton Theological Seminary after serving in China, became a Board-Certified Chaplain and worked in hospitals for many years until feeling a call to work for healing in churches. She graduated from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary with her DMin. in Pastoral Care and Counseling (With Distinction) in 2022 and began serving in Interim ministry.

When Amy is not working you might find her fighting the squirrels off her tomato plants, knitting something, dabbling in watercolor, baking bread or trying to keep up with her husband Ed and their dog Scout on a hike.

She is married to Rev. Dr. Edward Goode, and they have three (low mileage) adult children. All their kids found a home in the Knox youth group and flourished there- not as ‘the pastor’s kids’. Amy will be forever grateful for the committed team of faith filled adults at Knox who journeyed with her kids through their high school years and modeled what Christian community looks and feels like.
